BACKGROUND
Anthony is a product leader with more than 20 years of experience in product management, project delivery, and executive leadership across the technology sector.
Throughout his career, Anthony has bridged the gap between technology and business outcomes, leading large development teams and managing complex government technology implementations, including emergency services systems.
Anthony’s approach to product management starts with the customer. He is driven by understanding everyday user challenges, and working collaboratively with Corvanta’s engineering, engagement, and commercial teams to deliver solutions that solve real pain points.
Based in Tasmania, Anthony is passionate about applying emerging technologies – including AI – thoughtfully and safely to deliver practical outcomes for paramedics and the patients they serve.
RESPONSIBLE FOR
Defining and validating Corvanta’s product strategy, discovering new product opportunities with customers, and ensuring our roadmap delivers meaningful value to the people who rely on our technology every day.
WHY CORVANTA
The opportunity to build products that directly support paramedics and first responders is rare. At Corvanta, I get to combine deep customer understanding with emerging technology to solve problems that genuinely matter, and I get to do it alongside a team that cares as much as I do.
WHAT PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME
Before finding my way into technology, I started my career as a sports journalist in regional television news. These days, when I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me on our hobby farm in Tasmania tending a menagerie of goats, cattle, pigs, ducks, geese, chickens – not to mention our dogs and cat. Our first feline friend came for free with the property!
Han-Wei is an experienced health professional and leader with more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently as the Health Incident Controller for the COVID-19 Response in Tasmania.
His diverse experiences as a clinician, end user, project manager, ambulance manager, and executive leader contribute to the unique perspectives he brings to his role.
He holds a Bachelor of Nursing, a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care), a Graduate Diploma in Paramedicine, and a Diploma of Project Management.
Han-Wei has a demonstrated record of successfully implementing and managing complex, mission-critical Computer Aided Dispatch and Mobile Data technology across the emergency services. He remains a practicing Wilderness Paramedic.
Bringing the voice of the customer to everything we do, to ensure we add value to the industry.
Providing technology that helps first responders do their work more safely and efficiently. Helping them focus on the patient rather than the “tech” is the reason I work at Corvanta.
Ice Climbing! I love the mountains, snow, and ice. Using sharp, pointy things to stop you from falling off an ice wall is good for your focus!
