Erik brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in software and transportation technology, with a career spanning roles at several Modaxo businesses, including Trapeze, Vontas, and SharpStack.
As Chief Operating Officer at Vontas, he led a 130-person operations team across professional services, engineering, product management, customer support, and hardware production, playing a key role in driving strategic business growth, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction through the delivery of enterprise ITS solutions.
Most recently as Product Business Unit Leader at SharpStack, Erik established and scaled a global business that optimised the delivery of demand response services, working across markets and geographies to bring meaningful value and efficiencies to customers and stakeholders alike.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Luther College and a Master of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Iowa, where he specialised in transportation planning and GIS mapping.

Vianna’s academic and professional experience includes a background in engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland and specialised in regulatory compliance reporting and emissions assessment as an Environmental Engineer.

Han-Wei is an experienced health professional and leader with more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently as the Health Incident Controller for the COVID-19 Response in Tasmania.
His diverse experiences as a clinician, end user, project manager, ambulance manager, and executive leader contribute to the unique perspectives he brings to his role.
He holds a Bachelor of Nursing, a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care), a Graduate Diploma in Paramedicine, and a Diploma of Project Management.
Han-Wei has a demonstrated record of successfully implementing and managing complex, mission-critical Computer Aided Dispatch and Mobile Data technology across the emergency services. He remains a practicing Wilderness Paramedic.

Meg has more than a decade of experience as a marketing and brand management expert specialising in the technology communications sector.
During the past five years she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that are unique to Australia and New Zealand’s out-of-hospital care industry, and she played a leading role in the launch of the Corvanta brand.
Meg’s long-term professional engagement with healthcare technology includes working with the Council of Ambulance Authorities, where she has contributed to the Data and Research team’s ongoing efforts to recognise emerging trends and share industry insights. Her experience as a business advocate includes work with the Gold Coast Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Anthony is a product leader with more than 20 years of experience in product management, project delivery, and executive leadership across the technology sector.
His career has consistently centred on bridging the gap between technical teams and real business outcomes, from leading a 50-person development team of a property technology company, to managing complex government technology implementations including emergency services systems.
Anthony’s approach to product management starts with the customer. He is driven by understanding problems from the practical perspective of the people who use our technology every day, and working collaboratively with Corvanta’s engineering, engagement, and commercial teams to deliver solutions that solve real pain points.
Based in Tasmania, Anthony is passionate about exploring how emerging technologies – including AI – can be applied thoughtfully and safely to deliver practical outcomes for paramedics and the patients they serve.

Before finding my way into technology, I started my career as a sports journalist in regional television news. These days, when I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me on our hobby farm in Tasmania tending a menagerie of goats, cattle, pigs, ducks, geese, chickens – not to mention our dogs and cat. Our first feline friend came for free with the property!

Mounzer is passionate about delivering out-of-hospital care solutions for Corvanta’s customers and has led our service delivery teams to achieve an outstanding 99.99% system availability standard.
He has more than 15 years of industry experience, with skills in team leadership, service delivery, and managing customers, contracts, and operations.
Mounzer has made significant contributions to the development and implementation of a series of high-profile technology projects, including a rural and metro critical communications refresh for New South Wales and Queensland Ambulance Service. Mounzer’s work on mobile data infrastructure involved the design, build and commissioning for hardware and software components; procurement and management of the builds; resource management of the roll-outs; de-installation and installation of peripherals; asset management and logistics; and service delivery and management.
He has helped deliver similar critical communications infrastructure for ACT ESA, Fire and Emergency Services Western Australia, and NZ Ambulance in a project which included the scoping and design of installation real estate in various alpine-type vehicles.
Mounzer holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Telecommunications from Western Sydney University.

Tim has more than 20 years of experience developing and integrating solutions and technology for out-of-hospital care.
He has worked on large, successful projects involving job dispatch, systems integration, vehicle integration, reporting, and business intelligence for Queensland Ambulance, NSW Ambulance, Ambulance Tasmania, ACT ESA, Queensland Police, and NSW RTA.
Tim has made a significant contribution to software solutions in critical communications, real-time data processing, data warehousing, and embedded mobile solutions. This includes programming, design, requirements gathering and workshops, requirement validation, technical leadership, engineering management, and solutions consultancy for out-of-hospital care projects.
He enjoys partnering with customers to deliver solutions and support information that helps them meet their response targets, influence better community outcomes, and improve safety for ambulance staff.

Mitch plays a key role in defining Corvanta’s strategy for the provision of next generation pre-hospital care technology to our customers. He oversees our solutions roadmap which he develops in partnership with our customers, including the delivery of major updates to our core solutions throughout the year, and has built Corvanta’s internationally dispersed development team from the ground up.
Mitch is a people-focused leader who excels in managing high-performing teams and developing sophisticated technology solutions.
With more than 20 years of experience building software solutions, he has led teams through all phases of the software development life cycle, including prototyping, patenting, commercialisation, implementation, and maintenance.
Mitch holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland and began his professional life as an engineer, then quickly grew an appreciation for how software solutions can make a positive difference in people’s lives. This makes him a great fit for the out-of-hospital care sector.

Gordon is a senior executive with more than 20 years of commercial and clinical experience gained during an international career that has included working with ambulance services in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
As a clinician who holds an MBA with a focus on international trade, Gordon has a unique insight into how applying technology to out-of-hospital care can make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
His wide range of experience includes a senior clinical role within the Ambulance Victoria emergency call-taking and dispatch control centre, and the management of emergency and trauma services for a Johns Hopkins Hospital with the busiest trauma centre in the UAE.
He project-led and managed the UAE’s first hospital-based critical care and heart attack retrieval service and has held clinical roles in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
Gordon has been involved in structuring public-private partnerships for large-scale public health projects. He has also worked with the United Nations to advise on healthcare PPP policy.

BACKGROUND
James has been in the out-of-hospital sector for two decades, working as a registered paramedic in the UK and Australia after serving in the British military. His roles at Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) and Ambulance Tasmania (AT) have ranged from a frontline clinician, including Critical Care Paramedic and Critical Care Flight Paramedic, to senior healthcare executive leadership.
While specialising in aeromedical retrieval on rescue helicopters with QAS, he was awarded the National Emergency Medal following the 2010-11 floods.
After holding several executive positions with QAS and AT, James was appointed Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Operations for AT prior to the Covid-19 outbreak. He led AT’s state-wide pandemic response function, including the response to the North-West outbreak, and represented AT as the lead in the 1A Covid Vaccination prioritisation program as part of the whole of health panel. Whilst also leading normal statewide operations which included the state operations centre and mental health and wellbeing portfolios.
Being the Business Process Owner for the secondary triage capability implementation, capital work programs resulting six new station builds, workforce planning resulting increasing staffing by approximately 250 people over 18 months, within budget, leading funding enhancement programs for fleet and equipment, whilst also binging the Mental Health Response unit to life in Tasmania in conjuction with Police and Community Mental Health. Responsible for increased flexibility, diversity, and equality in the workplace, improving the representation of women in leadership roles across the organisation and a reduction in attrition service-wide. As the business process owner he oversaw the implementation of the secondary triage system, VACIS 3 upgrade and rollout, and also capital works programs.
James is currently an MBA candidate due for completion shortly. His other academic qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership; a Bachelor’s in Clinical Practice (Paramedic); a Diploma in Professional Development (Paramedic Science); a Cert IV in Training and Assessment; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt and Yellow Belt; and a Certified Agile Project Management Practitioner.

In 2018 I took a period of leave to join the Commonwealth Games as a Venue Medical Manager. My primary responsibility was the Mountain Biking event, where I led the planning, preparedness, and response for athletes from over 70 countries as well as staff, volunteers and spectators.
