Corvanta advances technology needed to support the delivery of timely, integrated, patient-centric solutions that drive better patient outcomes.
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia – August 12, 2022
Today, a new patient-centric brand, Corvanta, is launched from the former Emergency Services business within Trapeze Group. Corvanta is a technology and software company focused exclusively on meeting the needs of out-of-hospital care providers.
In an industry where every second counts, Corvanta’s vision is to empower and enable out-of-hospital care providers to save and improve lives.
Corvanta is led by James McManus as Managing Director. McManus brings extensive industry experience to the role, with an almost twenty-year career in out-of-hospital care, including roles ranging from frontline clinician to healthcare executive leadership at Ambulance Tasmania, Queensland Ambulance Service and the NHS .
The industry is experiencing innovation and change at a rapid speed. The transformation from patient transfer to an integrated, technology-enabled health service, along with the indelible stamp of the global pandemic, has changed the out-of-hospital care industry forever. To continue spurring innovation and enabling services that deliver better patient outcomes, Corvanta was established to provide a laser sharp focus on empowering responders with the technology they need to improve community healthcare outcomes.
McManus shared, “I’m thrilled to lead a team with great experience in delivering technology to out-of-hospital care providers and am very excited to work with customers across a diverse range of ambulance services, including some of my old stomping grounds, to further accelerate the digital transformation of the industry”.
According to McManus, the industry should, “Keep an eye out for announcements from Corvanta relating to enhancements to our in-vehicle MDT, including Artificial Intelligence designed to detect and manage signs of fatigue, along with CAD-integrated Drone AED delivery”.
Trapeze Group remains a leading brand providing technology solutions for public transport. Having Corvanta focus exclusively on out-of-hospital care means its customers can appreciate its heritage as Trapeze, whilst benefiting from an even greater focus on solution advancement that aligns with their industry.
Both Corvanta and Trapeze Group are part of the Modaxo collective of companies for people transportation.
